Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantine was born in 274 A.D. He was born in Naissus, Upper Moesia. His mother and father were Constantius Chorus and Helena.

Constantina: - Constantine's sister
-was given away to Licinius to marry for nine years

Constantius Chorus: - Constantine's father
- died on the 25th of July 306 A.D

Helena: - Constantine's mother

Significant historical events Emperor Constantine participated in AND his role in these events
- In 323A.D, war started to take place when Licinius married Constantina. So, Constantine defeated and killed Licinius.
- Constantine drowned Maximinus during The Battle of the Milvian Bridge in 313.

Why should future students learn about Constantine?
Future students need to learn about Constantine because he had a major part in spreading Christianity. Also, children need to know what he went through in his life from his father dying, to his sister being married to someone Constantine doesn't like.

Constantine the Great died in337A.D.
